What should I check before paying?
Photos of every piece in your actual lot, not example photos. A written grading standard. The exact mix of categories, sizes and colours. A commercial invoice with HS codes. The freight method and an estimate of landed cost including duty. A verifiable business presence. And a deposit-and-balance payment structure — never full payment for unseen goods.
Is it better to buy from the US or from Pakistan?
US suppliers sit close to where the garments were first worn and ship quickly within North America, but lots are often sold blind and priced higher per piece. Pakistan is one of the world's largest hubs for sorting used clothing, so buying there removes middlemen, and labour costs make hand-reworking affordable; freight is longer and import duty applies. For European, Gulf, Asian and Australian buyers, the landed cost is often lower from Pakistan.
