New Zealand charges 15% GST on imported goods. Parcels under NZD 1,000 are charged GST by the seller or courier with no duty; above NZD 1,000, duty on clothing (around 10%) applies alongside GST and a biosecurity and import entry fee. Used clothing should be clean and dry to avoid biosecurity inspection. For bulk this is simpler than it sounds — one freight entry rather than many small parcels each attracting handling fees.
