Danish and EU import VAT

Denmark applies 25% import VAT on goods entering the EU, plus customs duty on used clothing above the EU threshold. The EU has been phasing out its low-value exemptions, with a transitional duty applying from July 2026, so budget for VAT plus duty on any order. The courier collects before delivery with an import handling fee.

Yes. Bulk lots ship by air or sea freight with commercial invoices and HS codes prepared for your broker. Bulk bundle pricing starts at twenty pieces (£18 per piece).

Copenhagen's vintage market punches above its size — Nørrebro and Vesterbro are dense with curated vintage, and Danish buyers pay for clean, well-cut pieces. Trendsales and Vinted dominate online. Cropped and boxy Carhartt jackets fit the Copenhagen aesthetic particularly well.
