Rust and maroon shades came from limited production runs and are among the rarer colourways to surface in vintage stock. They sit between brown and red depending on light.
Era and identification
Cut down from full-length double knee pants, keeping the reinforced knee panel as a design feature. The canvas is the same weight as the original pant.
Condition — slightly worn
Graded slightly worn: visible use with even fade across the piece, nothing that affects how it wears. This is the sweet spot for most buyers — the fabric has already softened and the colour has settled, but it hasn't been worked to the point of repair. Priced at $54 against an original retail of $85 — 36% below new, for fabric weight and construction current production no longer matches.
